Traffic Update: Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police Introduce Alternate Routes to Bhosari

In a move aimed at enhancing traffic efficiency and safety in the Pimpri Chinchwad region, the Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police have announced crucial changes to the traffic flow from Pimpri to Nashik Phata Chowk, particularly for commuters heading towards Bhosari.

The focus of this update is the two-level JRD Tata flyover at Nashik Phata Chowk, which has recently seen the completion of a loop constructed for commuters traveling from Pimple Gurav to Pune. This loop, initially closed due to ongoing Maha Metro work on the Nigdi-Dapodi road, has now been reopened for traffic following the completion of the said project.

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of commuters in Pimpri Chinchwad city, the Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police have issued the following directives:

  1. Left Turn Ban:
    • Vehicles of all types coming from Pimpri to Nashik Phata Chowk via the grade separator and service roads are prohibited from making a left turn towards Bhosari.
  2. Alternative Route:
    • Commuters traveling from Pimpri towards Bhosari, Moshi, or Nashik are advised to utilize the service road next to HA Company BRT bus stop. Instead of proceeding to Nashik Phata Chowk, they should take the left-side route from Sukhwani Chambers.

These changes in traffic regulations became effective from December 14, 2023.

This strategic adjustment aims to streamline traffic movements, reduce congestion, and enhance the overall commuting experience for residents in the Pimpri Chinchwad area. Commuters are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new routes to avoid any inconvenience.
