The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) is pulling out all the stops to ensure cricket fans reach the MCA stadium in Gahunje for the upcoming ICC World Cup matches. With a total of five thrilling matches set to take place at the MCA stadium, PMPML has organized special bus services from three different locations in Pune. Let’s get into the details of this convenient transport arrangement.
A Smooth Ride to the Stadium
PMPML has got the game plan sorted for cricket enthusiasts. Special buses will depart from key locations within the city to transport fans to the MCA stadium in Gahunje. The locations include Pune Municipal Corporation, Katraj, and Nigdi Chowk. Passengers opting for the Pune Municipal Corporation and Katraj Bypass stops will be charged a fare of Rs 100 per passenger for a one-way journey. For those boarding from Nigdi Chowk, the fare will be Rs 50 per passenger, ensuring affordability for all fans.
Match Day Bus Schedule
As match days approach, PMPML has meticulously planned bus departures. For matches scheduled on October 19, October 30, November 1, and November 8, three buses will be available from Pune Municipal Corporation. These buses will leave PMC at 11 am, 11:35 am, and 12:05 pm. Additionally, two buses are arranged from Katraj Bypass with departure times at 11 am and 11:30 am. From Nigdi Tilak Chowk, two buses are scheduled to leave for the stadium at 12 pm and 12:30 pm.
On November 11, when the excitement reaches its peak, three buses will depart from Pune Municipal Corporation at 8:25 am, 8:50 am, and 9:05 am. Katraj Bypass will have two buses departing at 8:15 am and 8:35 am. Nigdi Tilak Chowk will see two buses taking fans to the stadium at 8:30 am and 9 am. PMPML officials are ready to deploy additional buses to meet the demand if it grows on any of the five match days.
