Pune: Employee Exploits Workload Surge: 38 Mobile Phones Stolen During Diwali Sale At E-Commerce Warehouse In Wakad

Pune / Pimpri Chinchwad: A worker working at the online e-commerce company ripped off 38 mobile phones worth 9 lakh, 47 thousand, and 160 rupees. This mobile was in the warehouse of the e-commerce company, where it was ordered by customers during a recently held Diwali sale. Seizing the opportunity of a short workforce during the festival and the increased workload on the company, the accused stole as many as 38 mobile phones from the company.

The accused, identified as Ashish Bhausaheb Bhosale (age 22), a resident of Pimpri, Pune, is working in the e-commerce company’s office. Wakad police, acting on the complaint filed by another employee of the office, registered a complaint against the accused under IPC 381, 34, and also apprehended a juvenile accomplice for helping Bhosale in this act.

According to the police complaint, the accused stole 38 mobile phones from the warehouses of the company, which were originally ordered by customers during the Diwali sale. These mobile phones cost 9 lakh, 47 thousand, and 160 rupees collectively. When a 27-year-old woman working in the same office discovered a shocking theft, she promptly registered a complaint at Wakad Police Station.

Acting swiftly, Wakad police apprehended Ashish Bhosale and his minor accomplice after a thorough investigation and seized 24 mobile phones of various companies worth 5 lakh, 91 thousand, and 244 rupees from them. Furthermore, the name of Piyush Govind Mohite (age 23) is also revealed in police interrogation. The police are investigating the rest of the mobile phones.
