PCMC Takes Bold Step with Accessibility Audit: 65 Government Buildings Undergo Comprehensive Assessment

impri-Chinchwad : The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative by launching an accessibility audit aimed at ensuring that all city government buildings are accessible to individuals with special needs.

Identifying a total of 65 government buildings for the assessment, city officials have employed the services of a consultant to conduct the audit. The audit, initiated in the last week of January, is anticipated to yield its final report by the end of March.

A senior PCMC official confirmed that within four months of receiving the audit report, all necessary adjustments and modifications will be implemented across these 65 buildings to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
