Constro 2024: A Gateway to Construction Excellence Unveiled in Moshi

The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has set the stage for a transformative experience in the construction industry with the inauguration of Constro 2024 at the prestigious International Exhibition Center (PIECC) in Moshi. The exhibition, scheduled from January 4 to 7, 2024, was inaugurated by PMRDA Commissioner Rahul Mahiwal, signaling the beginning of a showcase of the latest innovations in construction.

A Platform for Progress: Constro’s Impact on Pune’s Reputation

Expressing his appreciation for Constro, PMRDA Commissioner Rahul Mahiwal highlighted how the expo contributes significantly to enhancing the reputation of Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune. He credited Constro for elevating India’s facilities and technology, surpassing benchmarks set by countries like China.

Deputy Collector Ramdas Jagtap, sharing details about the event, mentioned that the Constro 2024 International Exhibition spans a state-of-the-art venue, covering an area of 30 thousand square meters. The expo aims to bring together engineering students, professionals, and industries, creating a collaborative space to explore the latest advancements in construction machinery, materials, methods, and technology.

Towards Technological Milestones: Focus on ‘Latest Method and Technology’

The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Latest Method and Technology,” emphasizing a commitment to staying at the forefront of technological trends in the construction sector. The event is not only a platform for showcasing cutting-edge products but also a forum for knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders.

Constro Chairman Jayant Inamdar highlighted the significance of the exhibition in uniting the construction community. He stressed that Constro serves as a milestone, promoting the integration of research, new technology, and innovative working methods in the construction sector.

Various dignitaries attended the inaugural ceremony, including Vijay Khorate, PCMC Additional Commissioner, Naren Kothari, Chairman of Pune Construction Engineering and Research Foundation (PCERF), Shirish Kembhavi, Secretary, Sanjay Vaichal, among others. Naren Kothari, Chairman of PCERF, noted that Constro 2024 marks the 18th edition of the Constro International Expo, showcasing the commitment to progress and innovation in the construction domain.

As the concept partner, PMRDA is actively involved in facilitating infrastructure development in the Pune metropolitan area, with ongoing projects such as the ring road, river improvement, and the Man-Shivajinagar Metro. Constro 2024 aligns with the vision of enhancing the construction sector by bringing together industry leaders, professionals, and enthusiasts.
