Mumbai, India – The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has scheduled a two-hour lane closure on both Pune and Mumbai-bound lanes of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. This temporary traffic block, slated for Tuesday, is essential for the installation of overhead gantries, a crucial step in enhancing the infrastructure of the expressway.

Scheduled Traffic Block Details

The MSRDC has officially announced that the two-hour traffic diversion will be in effect from 12 pm to 2 pm on December 12. During this period, vehicles will be redirected to the old Mumbai Pune Highway to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. The specific locations earmarked for gantry installation are Kusgaon Dheku Village at KM 56/900 and Ozarde Trauma Care Center at KM 74/900 on the Expressway, as detailed in the official release.
