Ratan Tata conferred with ‘Udyog Ratna’ award by Mah CM in Mumbai

Mumbai, Aug 19 (UNI) Renowned industrialist Ratan Tata was conferred with the Maharashtra government’s first ever ‘Udyog Ratna’ award by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, at his residence here on Saturday.

The award was presented to the 85-year-old Ratan Tata.

The honour comprised a shawl, a citation, and a memento from the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

Talking to reporters later, Shinde said honouring Tata with ‘Udyog Ratna’ has enhanced the prestige of the award.
