Maharashtra CM to inaugurate 75 virtual classrooms in ITIs on August 15

Mumbai: Aug 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will inaugurate 75 virtual classrooms in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the state on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence on August 15, a minister announced on Sunday.

It will be held through a television system at Sahyadri Guest House in the presence of the Minister of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangal Prabhat Lodha.

Lodha in a press release said the virtual classroom will have interactive panels, computer services, and better meeting arrangements.

The initiative will be implemented in all 419 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of the state under the ‘Skill India’ and ‘Digital India’ initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The strengthening of 419 Government Industrial Training Institutes and 547 Private Industrial Training Institutes are being supported by the Directorate of Business Education and Training under the Department of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the state.

Through this, emphasis is being laid on developing employment-oriented skills for youth and young women in the state, he said.
