Mumbai : In a remarkable display of academic prowess, the Parolia twins from Kandivli, Mumbai, have clinched the 2nd and 8th positions in the all-India Chartered Accountants (CA) final results. Sanskruti Parolia secured the second spot, closely followed by her twin sister Shruti, who secured the eighth position. The twins, who have been study partners, undertook the challenging feat of sitting for both groups in one attempt, an uncommon accomplishment in the CA realm.

Madhur Jain from Jaipur secured the first position in the CA final, scoring an impressive 619 out of 800. The Parolia twins, commerce graduates, achieved similar success in the intermediate level CA exam, with Sanskruti securing the third rank and Shruti securing the fourth rank.

The sisters, inspired by their father and elder brother, both CAs, demonstrated a deep passion for numbers and accounts from a young age. Despite their academic excellence, they acknowledged the challenging nature of the CA course and embraced the rigorous preparation required.

Sanskruti shared, “Ever since we were kids, we loved numbers and accounts. We study together, the same chapter at the same time. In grade 11, I was the college topper, in grade 12, Shruti took the top spot of being the college topper.” Their family, with a strong CA background, provided unwavering support, with their father encouraging them to give their best without regrets.

In the broader CA final results, Jaipur’s Tikendra Singhal secured the third all-India rank. Out of 65,294 students who took group 1, 9.5% cleared it, and for group 2, 21.6% out of 62,697 students passed. A total of 32,907 students took both groups, with 9.4% qualifying as chartered accountants.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants also released the intermediate exam results, with Jay Jimulia from Mumbai claiming the top spot with a score of 691 out of 800. The success stories of students like the Parolia twins continue to inspire the CA aspirants across the country.
