DCP Bal Singh Rajput appointed as OSD by CM Eknath Shinde

Mumbai: The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) at Mumbai police commissionerate Bal Singh Rajput has been appointed on deputation as On Special Duty (OSD) in the Secretariat of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Rajput was the first Superintendent of Police (SP) of Maharashtra Cyber Unit. He had performed the duties of superintendent very well.

Rajput was born in Aundh in Satara district. He joined the Maharashtra Police Force as a Deputy Superintendent ( DySP) through the examination conducted by the Maharashtra public Service Commission (MPSC). He has served in Solapur, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra Cyber Unit and Mumbai Police.

He is the first Superintendent of Cyber Unit which was established for the first time in Maharashtra. His performance is remarkable. Rajput is currently working as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime investigation in the Mumbai Police Force.
