Reliance Jio Launches High-Speed Internet Service Jio AirFibre in Pune and Beyond

Reliance Jio has unveiled its latest offering, Jio AirFibre, in eight major cities across India, including the vibrant city of Pune. This expansion is set to provide high-speed internet connectivity to urban dwellers, with plans designed to cater to various needs and preferences.

The eight cities chosen for the initial rollout of Jio AirFibre include Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. Reliance Jio’s move is poised to bring cutting-edge internet services to metropolises, addressing the growing demand for fast and reliable connectivity.

Diverse Plans to Suit Every Need:

With the introduction of Jio AirFibre, Reliance Jio has introduced two primary plans, namely AirFiber and AirFiber Max, designed to cater to a wide range of internet requirements.

AirFiber Plans:

Under the AirFiber plan, customers can opt for two distinct speed options: 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps. The 30 Mbps plan is available at a competitive rate of Rs 599, while the 100 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 899. Both plans provide customers access to a comprehensive package, which includes access to more than 550 digital channels and 14 entertainment apps.

For those desiring a high-speed internet experience, Reliance Jio has introduced an AirFiber plan priced at Rs 1199, delivering a blazing 100 Mbps speed. This premium plan goes beyond offering digital channels and entertainment apps and includes access to popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Jio Cinema.

AirFiber Max Plans:

Customers looking for even higher internet speeds can explore the AirFiber Max plans, which offer an array of options. These plans range from 300 Mbps to a staggering 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps).

  • The 300 Mbps plan is available at Rs 1,499.
  • The 500 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 2,499.
  • For the ultimate high-speed experience at 1 Gbps, customers can choose the Rs 3,999 plan.

Just like the AirFiber plans, all AirFiber Max plans provide access to an extensive collection of digital channels, 14 entertainment apps, and premium streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Extending Last-Mile Connectivity:

Reliance Jio’s optical fiber infrastructure spans an impressive 1.5 million kilometers across India, connecting over 100 million premises through its Jio Fiber service. However, there remain millions of homes and small businesses where providing fiber connectivity is logistically challenging.

Jio AirFiber aims to bridge this connectivity gap, making last-mile connectivity more accessible. The company’s ambitious goal is to reach 200 million homes and premises through this new offering, ensuring that even the most remote locations can benefit from high-speed internet services.

Akash Ambani’s Vision:

Speaking at the launch of Jio AirFibre, Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, expressed the company’s commitment to extending connectivity: “Our Fiber-to-the-Home service, Jio Fiber, is serving over 100 million customers and every month, hundreds of thousands of people are joining. But there are still millions of homes and small businesses that need to be connected.”

With the introduction of Jio AirFibre, Reliance Jio is set to provide lightning-fast internet access and premium entertainment options to an even broader audience, further solidifying its position as a leader in India’s telecommunications landscape.
