Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) has announced a significant investment of Rs 170 crore for the development of a cutting-edge warehousing facility in Phaltan, near Pune. Spanning across 6.5 lakh square feet (sq ft), the new facility will be rolled out in two phases, with the first phase, covering 3.5 lakh sq ft, expected to be operational by the end of 2024, as revealed in the company’s official statement.
The warehousing facility will serve as a hub for managing inbound logistics, manufacturing, and distribution solutions for various clients in the automotive and manufacturing sectors located in the region, according to Mahindra Logistics.
The planned investment, to be executed in multiple phases, highlights Mahindra Logistics’ commitment to bolstering its infrastructure to meet the growing demand for logistics and warehousing services. The company aims to enhance its multi-client warehousing network throughout India, with the Phaltan facility strategically positioned to contribute to the overall business ecosystem for valued clientele in the region.

He stated, “To enhance our capabilities and meet the rising demand, we are expanding our multi-client warehousing network across India. Our latest facility in Phaltan is strategically located to augment the overall business ecosystem for our valued clientele in the region.”
Phaltan’s strategic location, in close proximity to key customers in the automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and components sectors, makes it an ideal choice for Mahindra Logistics’ expansion plans.
