ISHRAE Pune Branch Hosts 3rd RefTech Series to Celebrate World Refrigeration Day

Pune, 27th June 2023: The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Pune Branch celebrated the 3rd RefTech Series in honor of World Refrigeration Day on June 26. This event served as a valuable platform for professionals in the heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning industry to come together and exchange knowledge.

To mark the occasion, the Pune branch meticulously planned and executed a series of activities throughout the month. Industrial tours and seminars were organized at renowned companies like Kirloskar Pneumatic, Alfa Lu-Ve, Refcon, and Parag Marketing. The focus of these programs was to enhance understanding and expertise in the field, aligning with the theme of “Know Your Product.”

The event kicked off with an introduction by Manas Kulkarni, setting the tone for the insightful sessions that followed. Nandkishore Kotkar, President of the Pune branch, provided valuable insights into the initiatives undertaken by ISHRAE. Diving deeper into the subject matter, Sanjay Phadke discussed energy efficiency in cold storage, while Dr. Kundan Kumar shed light on the sustainability aspect and the use of Carbon Dioxide as a new gas. Neeraj Magnani shared the latest advancements in IoT and Augmented Reality. Arvind Surange and RP Paranjpe, the esteemed chief guests, emphasized the impact of refrigeration on our daily lives and the environment.

The event garnered sponsorship from prominent companies such as Hycon, Parag Marketing, and Refcool, showcasing their support for the industry. The program was skillfully moderated by Mahesh More and Devika Mutha, with active participation from Manas Kulkarni, Pramod Waje, Mahesh More, and other dedicated members.
