It replaces the previous 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with a more compact yet potent 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit equipped with an electric turbocharger. This innovative powerplant produces a robust 408hp and 500Nm of torque, with an additional 14hp derived from the 48V mild-hybrid system. A nine-speed automatic gearbox, featuring ‘Race Start’ functionality, channels power to all four wheels through Mercedes-AMG’s 4MATIC drive system. It’s important to note that the system is rear-wheel biased, with 31 percent of the power sent to the front axle and 69 percent to the rear.
