Tata Motors Accelerates into 2024 with Four New Releases, Challenging Swift, Fortuner, Creta, and More

Tata Motors is gearing up for an exciting year ahead, unveiling plans for the launch of four new vehicles set to make waves in the Indian automotive market. Building on the success of the recently launched Punch EV, Tata is diversifying its portfolio to cater to various consumer preferences and needs.

1. Tata Altroz Racer: A Sporty Contender Scheduled for a March launch, the Tata Altroz Racer is poised to inject vigor into the hatchback segment. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo, this sportier version of the Altroz aims to rival the Hyundai i20 N-Line. Boasting a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine, the Altroz Racer delivers 120 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque, elevating the driving experience and setting the stage for intense competition in the segment.

2. Tata Curvv EV: The Future is Electric The Curvv coupe SUV, showcased at the expo, is set to make its mark with an electric debut in July, preceding its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. Built on Tata Motors’ Acti.ev platform, shared with the Punch.ev, the Curvv EV promises a remarkable range of around 500 km on a full charge. With both medium-range and long-range variants, Tata is set to redefine the electric vehicle (EV) landscape.

3. Tata Curvv Diesel: Power Meets Style In August, Tata Motors will introduce the Curvv Diesel, mirroring the design and features of its electric counterpart. Featuring a robust 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine from the Nexon diesel, the Curvv Diesel offers 115 PS and 260 Nm of torque. This launch caters to diesel enthusiasts seeking a perfect blend of performance and efficiency.

4. Tata Harrier EV: Redefining SUV Excellence Towards the end of the year, Tata Motors plans to launch the Harrier EV, a near-production model that underscores the brand’s commitment to electrifying its SUV lineup. With a 60 kWh battery pack providing a range of 500-550 km and an available AWD system, the Harrier EV signals a new era in SUV excellence. The possibility of RWD or FWD configurations in lower-spec variants adds versatility to its appeal.

5. Tata Motors’ 2024 Lineup: Driving Innovation and Diversity Explore Tata’s 2024 lineup, featuring the Altroz Racer, Curvv EV, Curvv Diesel, and Harrier EV, as the company continues to redefine the automotive landscape.
