Revving Up Excitement: Bajaj Pulsar N150’s Fusion of Power and Style

In a thrilling development for motorcycle enthusiasts, Bajaj Auto is on the brink of launching the all-new Bajaj Pulsar N150, a fusion of the P150’s engine and the N160’s body. This exciting addition to the Pulsar lineup promises to deliver the best of both worlds, creating a buzz of anticipation among motorcycling aficionados.

The Fusion of Two Icons

The Pulsar series from Bajaj Auto has consistently been a favorite among motorcycling enthusiasts, offering a wide range of models across various engine displacements. Leaked images from several dealerships have revealed the imminent arrival of the Bajaj Pulsar N150, a unique amalgamation of the P150’s powerful engine and the stylish N160’s body. With units already making their way to dealerships, it’s safe to say that the launch of this intriguing motorcycle is just around the corner.

A Pulsar Lineup Like No Other

The Pulsar sub-brand from Bajaj boasts an impressive array of models, making it one of the most diverse motorcycle lineups in the industry. From two 125cc Pulsars to two 150cc, two 160cc, one 200cc, one 220cc, and two 250cc Pulsars, Bajaj has consistently expanded its offering. The company has even confirmed the launch of the “biggest Pulsar” by the end of the current financial year.

Sources have hinted at a substantial 294cc engine displacement for this upcoming “biggest Pulsar.” Among the six new Pulsar models slated for launch, the Pulsar N150 is expected to be the first. With units already in showrooms, it’s only a matter of time before Bajaj enthusiasts can get their hands on this exciting addition to the lineup.

A Closer Look at the Fusion

The Pulsar N150 takes the powertrain from the Pulsar P150 and combines it with the body and styling of the N160, creating a unique and enticing package. However, this fusion goes beyond the surface, as there are some intriguing details to delve into. Two distinct colors have been spotted in showrooms – one identical to the Racing Red available with the Pulsar N160 and another resembling the Pearl Metallic White shade, a new addition for both the N and P range of Pulsar motorcycles.

Enhancements Over the Pulsar P150

While the upcoming Pulsar N150 shares several design elements with the Pulsar N160, it also brings its own enhancements. Notably, it now features a bi-LED projector headlight setup paired with LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The overall design is sharper and edgier, aligning with Bajaj’s aggressive character.

Although most design attributes are inspired by the Pulsar N160, the wheels and tires differ. The Pulsar N150 opts for the same alloy wheels as the Pulsar P150 but with thicker tires – 90/90 at the front and 120/80 at the rear. All spied units at dealerships sport a single-piece seat setup, though a split seat option is highly likely.

Pulsating Powertrain

Under the hood, the Pulsar N150 will feature the same powertrain as the Pulsar P150 – a 149.68cc single-cylinder engine producing 14.29 bhp and 13.5 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Notable features include a USB phone charger, bezel-less semi-digital instrument cluster, single-disc setup at both ends, single-channel ABS, and an underbelly exhaust.

The eagerly awaited launch of the Bajaj Pulsar N150 is expected to take place in the coming days. With the Pulsar P150 starting at Rs. 1.2 lakh and the Pulsar N160 at Rs. 1.31 lakh (both ex-showroom prices), the new Bajaj Pulsar N150 is likely to be competitively priced, positioned somewhere in the middle at approximately Rs. 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
