Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a leading SUV manufacturer in India, has introduced the Bolero Neo+ Ambulance, catering to the nation’s healthcare needs. Designed to adhere to AIS:125 (Part 1) norms regulating Type B Ambulances, the Neo+ offers exceptional build quality and versatility suitable for urban, suburban, and rural areas.
Based on the robust Bolero Neo platform launched in 2021, the Neo+ Ambulance boasts an extended wheelbase to provide a more spacious cabin. It is powered by a robust 2.2L mHawk engine, tailored to meet the demands of ambulance services in various markets.
The Bolero Neo+ Ambulance is priced at ESR Rs. 13.99 Lakh, with a Government e-Marketplace (GeM) rate of Rs. 12.31 Lakh.

The Bolero Neo+ Ambulance is built on the robust Neo platform and Gen-3 chassis with a high-strength steel body shell. Equipped with a more powerful 2.2-litre mHawk engine and a 6-speed gearbox in a rear-wheel-drive configuration, it offers 120 HP and 280 Nm of torque, ensuring swift response times in emergencies.
Despite its longer wheelbase, the Neo+ Ambulance remains compact enough for city traffic, while its body-on-frame construction and ample ground clearance make it suitable for challenging terrains. This combination of strength, speed, and space surpasses van-based alternatives and offers superior practicality and efficiency compared to coach-based ambulances.
