Benelli Unveils TRK 552 and TRK 552X: A Glimpse into the Future of Its ADV Bike Line

Benelli has taken a bold step in upgrading its adventure bike lineup by introducing the TRK 552 and TRK 552X, set to replace the existing TRK 502 series. Recently unveiled at dealerships in China, the new models showcase a larger 552cc engine, revamped hardware, and potentially upgraded features. Here’s what we know about the promising TRK 552 range.

The design of the Benelli TRK 552 and TRK 552X maintains the essence of the 502, featuring split LED headlights, a front beak with a transparent visor, handle guards incorporating an aluminum brace, split seats, and an upswept exhaust. Noteworthy additions include multiple color schemes, providing riders with aesthetic choices.

While detailed specifications of the TRK 552 range are limited, it is confirmed that the bikes boast full LED illumination, a fully digital console, ABS, and potential smartphone connectivity. The current Benelli TRK 502 is equipped with a 500cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 46.8bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. In contrast, the TRK 552 series houses a more robust 549cc, twin-cylinder motor linked to a six-speed gearbox.

The hardware on the new Benelli bikes has undergone alterations, featuring adjustable front forks and a monoshock. The braking system comprises dual front and a single rear disc with J. Juan callipers, all connected to spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose tires.

As for the pricing, the current Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X are listed at Rs. 5.85 lakh and Rs. 6.50 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Given the upgrades in the TRK 552 range, enthusiasts can anticipate a higher price tag.
