The Enchanting Love Story of Akshata Murthy and British PM Rishi Sunak Unveiled in New Book ‘Rishi Sunak

Pune, June 15 – The captivating love story of Akshata Murthy and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, widely known as the million-dollar love story, has been revealed in the book ‘Rishi Sunak’ written by Pune-based writer Digambar Darade.

After completing her education in India, Akshata Murthy pursued her MBA at Stanford University in California, where she first encountered Rishi Sunak, who is now the Prime Minister of Britain.

Rishi Sunak had nurtured a childhood dream of studying at Stanford, and he fulfilled this aspiration by earning a scholarship to the university. It was during his time at Stanford that he fell in love with a girl whose name carries great respect in the Indian business world and features on the rich list, as disclosed in the book.

Digambar Darade’s book on Rishi Sunak, released last month, has sparked discussions among the youth. The book delves into various aspects of Rishi Sunak’s life, including the Sunak family’s journey to Britain, the love story of Akshata Murthy and Rishi Sunak, and the relationship between Sudha Murthy, Narayan Murthy, and Rishi Sunak.

Rishi Sunak, known for his exceptional academic abilities, arrived at Stanford University with a thirst for knowledge. It was during their studies that he and Akshata Murthy crossed paths, eventually becoming friends and later falling in love, as described in the book. The couple from Bengaluru tied the knot in 2009 and currently have two daughters. Rishi Sunak even expressed his gratitude to Akshata, who hails from a wealthy family, for accepting him. Moreover, Infosys founder Narayan Murthy expressed his pride in the choice his daughter made.

Akshata Murthy, the daughter of Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthy, was raised with the values of leading a simple life without becoming accustomed to luxury. The book highlights that as a child, Akshata Murthy would travel to school not in an expensive car, but in a rickshaw. Akshata Murthy herself is a fashion designer and has a net worth of $700 million.

Despite settling in Britain, Akshata Murthy has maintained her Indian identity, which sparked a controversy at one point. “I love both India and Britain,” explained Akshata Murthy, with Rishi Sunak supporting her stance, as mentioned in the book.
