Lonavla Authorities Intensify Vigilance Against Illegal Activities in Residential Areas
Lonavla police have apprehended nine individuals, including four women dancers, following a raid on a bungalow in Lonavla’s Tungarli area, where they were allegedly engaged in disturbing activities and obscene acts late into the night.
Acting on a tip-off, police officers conducted the raid, seizing music systems and other items from the premises where loud music and illicit behavior were reported.
SDPO Satya Sai Karthik of the Lonavla Division emphasized the importance of bungalow owners ensuring that no illegal activities take place on their properties. He urged owners to meticulously record details of tourists renting their properties to prevent such incidents.
This latest incident follows Lonavla police’s recent crackdown on individuals involved in filming pornographic content at another private bungalow in the area. The heightened vigilance by law enforcement underscores the authorities’ determination to curb illicit activities and maintain law and order in residential neighborhoods.
A case has been registered at the Lonavla city police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Maharashtra Police Act, with further investigations ongoing.
