South Western Railway Introduces Yesvantpur-Banaras-Yesvantpur Bharat Gaurav Train via Pune for Tourists and Pilgrims

South Western Railway is set to unveil the Yesvantpur-Banaras-Yesvantpur Bharat Gaurav train, a special initiative for tourists and pilgrims, on the 29th of August 2023. This unique train journey promises to offer an unforgettable travel experience, connecting two culturally significant destinations while traversing picturesque landscapes.

The Yesvantpur-Banaras-Yesvantpur Bharat Gaurav Train embarks on its journey from Yesvantpur at 10:00 hrs on the 29th of August 2023. Its route will take it through the domains of South Western Railway, Central Railway, and West Central Railway before arriving at its destination, Banaras.

The train with number 06553 will make its way through Central Railway via the South Western route on the 30th of August 2023. During its journey, it will make halts at pivotal stations including Miraj, Pune, Daund Chord Line, Manmad, Bhusaval, and Khandwa, continuing its passage through West Central Railway.

The return journey, marked by train number 06554, will commence from Banaras on the 1st of September 2023. On the 5th of September 2023, the train will enter Central Railway via the West Central route. During this leg of the journey, the train will make stops at Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Daund Chord Line, Pune, and Miraj, as it travels onwards through South Western Railway.

The composition of this special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train comprises LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) rakes, featuring 11 AC 3-Tier coaches, 1 Pantry Car, and 2 Generator Vans. This configuration aims to provide comfort, convenience, and an enjoyable travel experience to all passengers.

The introduction of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train aligns seamlessly with the Government of India’s initiatives such as “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” and “Dekho Apna Desh,” which emphasize the promotion of domestic tourism and the exploration of the nation’s diverse cultural and historical landmarks. In partnership with IRCTC, the train journey is meticulously designed to offer an all-inclusive tour package that ensures both safety and the creation of lasting memories for the guests.

As the train embarks on its journey, it carries not only passengers but also the aspirations of fostering cultural exchange and domestic tourism, in line with the broader vision of a united and vibrant India.
