Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal Delayed to December: Clash with Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 Imminent

The anticipation surrounding Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film, Brahmastra, had been the talk of the town. However, fans of the talented actor can expect even more excitement this year as Ranbir Kapoor has a lot in store. Currently, he is busy shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, Animal, where he stars opposite Rashmika Mandanna. The movie has already generated immense buzz, especially with the addition of Bobby Deol to the cast and leaked glimpses of Ranbir Kapoor’s character.

However, recent reports indicate that Animal may not be released on its originally scheduled date of August 11. Surprisingly, this delay has nothing to do with clashes with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 or Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. According to sources close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, the film’s release has been pushed to December due to additional work required in the VFX department.

An insider revealed, “Animal is one of the most ambitious films produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. They fully support director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who needs more time to deliver a world-class product. Sandeep is a perfectionist and wants to ensure that the film’s VFX is of the highest quality. The teams have been working tirelessly, but the action sequences are so grand that it’s not feasible to have the best version ready by August 11. After assessing Sandeep’s vision and the output that would be ready by August 11, the producers, along with Ranbir Kapoor, collectively decided to postpone the film to December.”

However, this delay means that Animal might now clash with another highly anticipated film, Tiger 3, which features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The Animal team believes that releasing the film on December 1 will provide a three-week window, as no other film would want to compete with three major releases—Tiger 3, Animal, and Dunki. The date has been meticulously planned, ensuring ample time for the makers to finalize the VFX work with the four-month delay.

On New Year’s Day, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared the film’s poster on Twitter. The intriguing poster features Ranbir Kapoor smoking a cigarette while gazing at someone. He is seen wearing a bloodstained white shirt and holding a blood-covered axe. The poster also revealed the film’s original release date, August 11. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri play significant roles in this Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial.

Fans of Ranbir Kapoor and movie enthusiasts are eagerly looking forward to the release of Animal and the clash between Animal and Tiger 3, which promises to be an epic battle at the box office. As December approaches, the excitement continues to build, and audiences can’t wait to witness the magic these films have in store.
