Purnkuti NGO Celebrates 12 Years of Empowering Lives in Pune with Jubilant Anniversary Event

Pune: Purnkuti NGO, a stalwart in community empowerment based in Wadgaon Sheri, celebrated its 12th anniversary with enthusiasm and fervor. The organization, dedicated to uplifting children and women from marginalized communities in Pune, showcased a day of reflection, acknowledgment, and hope for the future.

Abhijit Yadav, the Programme Manager at Purnkuti NGO, provided insights into the celebration’s proceedings. The event kicked off with dignitaries symbolically adding water to a plant, emphasizing the growth and nurturing of the organization over the past 12 years. A video presentation illuminated Purnkuti’s impactful social work, setting the tone for the day.

Children from the Manosakha Project, an initiative by Purnkuti, took center stage by presenting a short play. The play showcased the NGO’s success in enrolling out-of-school children into formal education, exemplifying the positive change brought about by their initiatives.

A significant highlight of the celebration was the distribution of certificates to women in the Dhara Project. These certificates recognized the successful completion of courses in beauty parlour, tailoring, MS-CIT, among others. Furthermore, women who not only completed courses but also initiated businesses, thereby improving their financial situations, were honored for their achievements.

Throughout the program, parents and women who received badges of honor took the opportunity to share their feelings and express gratitude for the unwavering support provided by the organization. The atmosphere was filled with positivity and appreciation for the transformative impact of Purnkuti NGO.

A celebratory cake cutting marked the culmination of the anniversary festivities, with Prashant Kumar, the organization’s trustee, extending best wishes for the future endeavors of Purnkuti.

The event was expertly anchored by Dr. Bharti Sahu and Smita Londhe, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for the approximately 45 attendees. Notable participants included co-founder Sneha Bharti, Ranjana Madam, Anuja, Mohsin from Rohan Builders’ Corporate Social Responsibility Department, Poornima Gadia from Diksha Foundation, Prashant Kumar, Mohan Prasad, Ashok Kadam, Shruti Dimble, Neha Sinha of Druvan Ray Foundation, and many others.

The anniversary celebration not only marked 12 years of impactful service but also served as a testament to the commitment of Purnkuti NGO towards creating positive change in the lives of those they serve.
