Pune: Head-On Clash! Altercation Over Face Masks Leads to Vicious Assault in Kadamwak Wasti

Pune: A person from Khairewasti was assaulted yesterday by a group of four people after some trivial altercation erupted between them. In this incident, the victim received multiple injuries to his head and body. This entire incident took place on Tuesday, January 30, in the Loni Kalbhor area.

In this regard, Avinash Mahadev Kamthe (age-22, a resident of Khairevasti, Taluka Haveli) filed a complaint against four accused at Loni Kalbhor Police Station on Wednesday. Accordingly, a case has been registered against Saddam Annsari, Atish Zende, Sameer Sheikh, and Suraj Mhatre (all residing in Indiranagar, Kadamwak Wasti, Taluka Haveli) under IPC 324, 323, 504, and 34.

The complainant reported that on Tuesday afternoon, he and his friend Aditya Kalane were going to Loni Kalbhor on a two-wheeler for their work. At that time, the accused, Saddam Ansari, overtook them, abusing them over their face masks.

After completing the work, the plaintiff went to the accused’s house and asked him the reason for abusing him. Enraged by this, the accused started assaulting the plaintiff with his hands and legs. At that time, other friends of the accused came there, and they also started beating the accused. They also issued death threats to the victim if he told anyone about this.

In this confrontation, the plaintiff received multiple injuries. Following the incident, the plaintiff filed a complaint against the accused at Loni Kalbhor Police Station. Accordingly, police have initiated their investigation into the case, and police inspectors from Loni Kalbhor are conducting further investigations.
