Dulquer Salmaan Shines as a Rugged Gangster in ‘King of Kotha’ Poster, Fans Eagerly Await Premiere

Mumbai, 14th August 2023: The anticipation for the action-packed thriller film “King of Kotha” has reached an all-time high. Just four days after its release, the film’s trailer has already accumulated a staggering 16 million views, catapulting it into the limelight. Adding to the excitement, a unique and captivating marketing move has been unveiled – glow-in-the-dark posters. This innovative promotional strategy has piqued the curiosity of audiences, further fueling the growing excitement for the film.

Among the eye-catching posters that have captured widespread attention, one prominently features Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan, portraying a rugged and determined character. With a gun firmly grasped in one hand and a cigarette in the other, Salmaan’s intense expression exudes undeniable charisma. The film’s cast and crew are actively engaging with fans through social media, unveiling intriguing posters, teasers, and introductory clips of the actors. These efforts are intensifying the anticipation and setting high expectations for the film’s upcoming premiere.

At the heart of the storyline is Raju, a former footballer who assumes the identity of a gangster to protect his hometown, Kotha, and its residents. With a star-studded ensemble cast including Dulquer Salmaan, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Gokul Suresh, Prasanna, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Chemban Vinod Jose, and others, “King of Kotha” promises an immersive cinematic experience.

Directed by Abhilash Joshiy and written by Abhilash N. Chandran, the film is a collaboration between Wayfarer Films and Zed Studios. Nimish Ravi’s cinematography adds a visually captivating dimension to the narrative, while the soundtrack, composed by Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman, has already gained traction with the release of two songs.

The highly anticipated release of “King of Kotha” is scheduled for August 24th. With a substantial budget of Rs 50 crore, the film is poised to make a significant impact. It will reach beyond its original Malayalam version, as dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi will enable a wider audience to enjoy its thrilling story.
