An unfortunate event has taken place yesterday at around 10 am in the Sadashiv Peth area. A girl who is a student was attacked by her erstwhile friend. They were together in an educational institute for their junior college. They had some kind of affinities but in the due course of time, they had some differences.
The boy was angry because the girl did not entertain his advances. Later on, the girl shifted to Pune and was pursuing a course in interior design. He then came to Pune and followed her, tried to talk to her and put his advances to her. It then lead to a situation where he attacked her. We have registered an offence under 307 of IPC along with Arms Act. The accused has been arrested. The girl was injured but was discharged after primary treatment. Strict action is being taken and investigation is being followed professionally
