Krystyna Pyszkova Takes the Crown: Miss World 2024 Winner and Her Commitment to Beauty with a Purpose

In a dazzling ceremony at the Jio World Cinema in Mumbai, Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World 2024. The event, hosted by Karan Johar and Megan Young, saw the reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska from Poland, passing on the coveted title to her successor.

Krystyna Pyszkova’s Triumph and Achievements

Krystyna Pyszkova not only secured the Miss World title but also bagged the Best Fashion Designer Award – Europe. Fluent in English, Polish, Slovak, and German, Pyszkova emerged victorious over strong contenders, including India’s Sini Shetty, Trinidad and Tobago’s Aché Abrahams, and Botswana’s Lesego Chombo. The first runner-up was Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon.

Pyszkova, with dual degrees in Law and Business Administration, stands as the second Miss World from the Czech Republic. Beyond her beauty and intelligence, she is a model and the founder of the Krystyna Pyszko Foundation. Notably, she has established an English school for underprivileged children in Tanzania, showcasing her commitment to philanthropy.

Beauty With A Purpose Ambassador

Pyszkova’s Beauty With A Purpose project centers around her initiatives in Tanzania. Additionally, she has founded a foundation in the Czech Republic that focuses on educational programs for children, the elderly, and individuals with mental disabilities. In an interview, she expressed her excitement about being the Beauty with a Purpose ambassador.

Passion for Sustainability and Arts

Wearing a custom-made gown by a Thai designer, Pyszkova emphasized her love for India and its culture. She underscored the importance of sustainability by revealing that her national costume was crafted from recyclable materials. Apart from her dedication to philanthropy, Pyszkova is passionate about arts and plays both the transverse flute and the violin.

The 71st Miss World Pageant Extravaganza

The 71st Miss World pageant, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, featured participation from 112 countries. The event showcased performances by renowned artists such as Shaan, Neha Kakkar, and Tony Kakkar. The cast of “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” also graced the stage, adding an extra layer of glamour to the spectacular evening.
