Countdown to History: Ram Temple Inauguration Invitations Sent, Grand Ceremony Nears

Ayodhya – As the historic inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya approaches on January 22, 2024, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has initiated the distribution of thousands of invitation letters for the consecration ceremony of ‘Ram Lalla.’ The grand event, set to be attended by notable figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is garnering widespread attention and anticipation.

Visuals circulating on social media confirm that the Trust is actively sending out approximately 6,000 invitation letters to individuals who will be honored guests at the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony in Ayodhya. The meticulous preparations for this monumental occasion are progressing rapidly, with the construction work on the temple nearing completion.

Three different versions of Ram Lalla are currently in production during this final stage of preparations. The selection of the ultimate version is expected to be made within this month, paving the way for its installation in the sanctum sanctorum.

The idol of Ram Lalla, representing the infant Lord Ram, is scheduled to be reinstated at its original location in the third week of January 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officiate the ceremony, marking a significant moment in the cultural and religious landscape of India. The Trust had previously shared images of the intricate floor-inlay work of the Ram Temple, providing a glimpse into the architectural marvel.

The foundation stone of the temple was laid by Prime Minister Modi on August 5, 2020, and since then, the project has been progressing with unwavering dedication.
