The collaboration between Ezditek and Gcore signifies a pivotal milestone in the quest to empower AI-driven businesses within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). By leveraging Gcore’s expertise, Ezditek aims to deploy state-of-the-art infrastructure capable of supporting AI/GPU computing over the next five years. With nine strategically located data centers, this initiative is poised to address the burgeoning need for advanced computing resources across key urban centers.

Visionary Leadership

Ibrahim Almulhim, CEO of Ezditek, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing its significance in the evolution of the region’s digital landscape. “Our collaboration with Gcore represents a significant stride towards establishing agile and scalable facilities that cater to the dynamic requirements of the AI era,” remarked Almulhim. He further added, “Through our MoU agreement, we are embarking on a journey to pioneer carrier-neutral data centers equipped to handle vast volumes of data, thereby driving local digital infrastructure development.”

Strategic Expansion

The alliance sets ambitious targets, aiming to achieve an operational capacity of 28MW by 2025, with plans for gradual expansion over the subsequent four years. Fabrice Moizan, Chief Revenue Officer at Gcore, echoed Almulhim’s sentiments, underscoring the transformative potential of the collaboration in shaping Saudi Arabia’s digital future.

Ezditek, a subsidiary of Ezdihar Holding Company, envisions the establishment of multiple large-scale data centers across major Saudi cities by 2030. These carrier-neutral hubs are strategically aligned with the objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, signaling a concerted effort towards fostering innovation, economic diversification, and technological advancement in the kingdom.

Future Outlook

As Ezditek and Gcore embark on this collaborative endeavor, stakeholders anticipate significant advancements in AI infrastructure deployment and accessibility across Saudi Arabia.
