Sony India has unveiled its latest offerings in the Alpha 7C series, introducing the Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR compact full-frame interchangeable lens cameras. These cameras come equipped with advanced features, providing photography and videography enthusiasts with versatile tools for creative expression.
The Alpha 7C II, a second-generation camera in the series, boasts a full-frame image sensor with around 33.0 effective megapixels and a lightweight, compact design. Meanwhile, the Alpha 7CR presents a new compact full-frame interchangeable lens camera featuring an approximately 61.0 effective megapixels full-size image sensor, offering exceptional imaging capabilities in a lightweight form.
Both models are equipped with advanced AI-processing units and BIONZ XR processors, ensuring high-precision Real-time Recognition AF and outstanding 5-axis in-body image stabilization. These features provide a seven-step advantage for capturing still images. Additionally, both cameras excel in video performance, supporting high-quality 4:2:2 10-bit video recording at up to 4K60p and feature Sony’s renowned S-Cinetone color science for cinematic video production.

- A weight-saving design, approximately 29% lighter and 53% less volume than the Alpha 7R V.
- A standard ISO sensitivity range from 100 to 32000 for both still images and videos.
- 7.0-step optical 5-axis in-body image stabilization, ensuring minimal blurring correction.
Both cameras are equipped with Pixel Shift Multi Shooting capabilities for creating high-resolution images by synthesizing multiple shots on a PC.
The Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR will be available at Sony Center, Alpha Flagship stores, authorized dealers, major e-commerce platforms (Amazon and Flipkart), and prominent electronic stores throughout India.
