Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Breaks Ground with Google Cloud’s Advanced AI Integration

Announced during the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California, the Galaxy S24 series marks a milestone as Samsung becomes the initial Google Cloud partner to integrate Gemini Pro and Imagen 2 on Vertex AI into their smartphone devices through cloud deployment.

A new feature, Circle to Search, was revealed by Google for the Galaxy S24 series, and it is set to be available on Pixel 8 starting January 31. Additionally, Samsung and Google Cloud have officially confirmed a multi-year partnership to globally introduce Google Cloud’s generative artificial intelligence technology to Samsung phones.

The collaboration between Google and Samsung is grounded in shared values emphasizing the significance of making technology more helpful and accessible. Following extensive testing and evaluation, teams from Samsung and Google Cloud collaborated to deliver the optimal Gemini-powered AI experience on the Galaxy S24 series.

Janghyun Yoon, Corporate EVP and Head of Software Office of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed excitement, stating, “We’re thrilled that the Galaxy S24 series is the first smartphone equipped with Gemini Pro and Imagen 2 on Vertex AI.”
