Quench EV Chargers Introduces Movable DC Fast Charger – Quench Mini

16th August 2023: Pune-based EV charger manufacturer, Quench, has unveiled its latest innovation – the Quench Mini, a movable 30KW DC Fast Charger. Designed to excel in extreme conditions, the Quench Mini has already found its way to deployment in various regions across the Middle East, North Africa (MENA), and Southeast Asia (SE Asia).

One of the standout features of this movable charger is its global compatibility. It can be easily connected to any industrial power socket worldwide, requiring only a 63 A 415V plug for installation. What sets it apart is the fact that it eliminates the need for grid connectivity permissions, step-down transformers, cable laying, foundations, or civil mounting platforms. Unlike standard 30KW chargers that use 3-phase 415V supply cables, the Quench Mini offers a hassle-free setup process.

Onkar Garudkar, Head of Marketing for Quench, highlighted the charger’s user-friendly design. The inclusion of built-in wheels and an ergonomic build allows for easy maneuvering. The power cable, which fuels the charger with 63 Amps, is available in lengths of 5m, 10m, and 15m. Traditional DC chargers with similar power outputs often require complex installation involving civil and cable work, significantly increasing the overall cost. In contrast, the Quench Mini offers flexibility without the need for fixed cabling or extensive civil work. Users can move the charger to various vehicles, negating the need for a dedicated charging area.

Garudkar added, “The new Quench Mini is designed to be reliable and outrageously easy to install. It sets a new standard in EV charging technology and represents a pioneering breakthrough with unparalleled features, including AutoCharge, POS integration, RFID compatibility, and much more.”

Sunil Bhambhani, Managing Director of Quench Chargers, emphasized the company’s global aspirations. He stated, “With this latest addition to our product line, Quench Chargers is on track to become a global provider of EV charging technology, offering a comprehensive set of charging solutions for electric cars, buses, and trucks.”

Quench is part of the Ador Group, which boasts a rich legacy of 115 years. The company’s joint venture, ‘Ador Digatron,’ is a collaboration between Ador in India and Digatron in Germany. The Quench chargers, powered by German technology, have already made their mark in both Indian and international markets. The products are the brainchild of a team of power electronics specialists with over 50 years of expertise in battery manufacturing and testing equipment. These chargers have undergone rigorous testing to withstand the harshest conditions, from the deserts of Saudi Arabia to the freezing climates of Scandinavia. Quench’s battery testing, charging, and lab equipment have served clients in more than 75 countries.

The introduction of the Quench Mini further solidifies Quench’s commitment to driving innovation in the EV charging sector, offering efficient and user-friendly solutions for a rapidly evolving market.
