While these plans provide attractive benefits, it’s crucial to note that BSNL’s network is not yet equipped with 4G or 5G services across India. BSNL Rs 599 Plan: Priced at Rs 599, this plan offers users truly unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day, and a daily data allowance of 3GB. Beyond the fair usage policy (FUP) limit, the internet speed reduces to 40 Kbps. Additional perks include Zing and PRBT services, along with Astrocell and GameOn services. The plan ensures 84 days of service validity.
BSNL Rs 769 Plan: For Rs 769, users can enjoy 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day with an 84-day service validity. The plan also includes BSNL Tunes, Hardy Mobile Games service, Challenges Arena Mobile Gaming, Lystn music service, Lokdhun, Zing, and other gaming services from various vendors.
While these plans offer substantial data benefits, it’s important to acknowledge that they may not match the value provided by similarly priced plans from private telecom operators like Jio and Airtel. The latter often offer unlimited 5G data at comparable or lower costs. Additionally, BSNL’s network is not yet PAN-India 4G, and the transition to widespread 4G coverage will take some time.
