Massive User Uptake in Record Time: In an announcement within WhatsApp Channels, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the platform reached the staggering milestone of 500 million monthly active users within just seven weeks. Positioned in the Updates tab on iOS and Android smartphones, WhatsApp Channels has quickly become a go-to source for real-time information and updates.
End-to-End Encryption Concerns: It’s crucial to note that messages on WhatsApp Channels lack end-to-end encryption, a departure from the standard WhatsApp security feature.
