Apple’s iPhone 15 Plus Takes Center Stage in New Ad, Boasting Unmatched Battery Life

In a move to emphasize the iPhone 15 Plus’s exceptional battery life, Apple unveiled a heartwarming ad titled “Miss You” on Christmas Eve. The commercial showcases the iPhone 15 Plus as the go-to choice for users who prioritize extended battery performance.

Despite lacking the 120Hz refresh rate on its screen and featuring the previous A16 chip, the iPhone 15 Plus outshone its counterparts in battery endurance. Tests conducted after the iPhone 15 release in September revealed that the iPhone 15 Plus lasted an impressive 13 hours and 19 minutes, surpassing the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s 11 hours and 41 minutes.

Set to the tune of Doe Boy’s “Way Too Long,” the ad depicts an animated electrical outlet singing the song while an iPhone 15 Plus user navigates through various activities around the house. The lyrics humorously echo the sentiment of a prolonged battery life:

“At night, I remember when you and I were inseparable We, we had pure energy We had that chemistry, we were inseparable Why we takin’ so long? (Why?) I’ve been geekin’, I can’t sleep, waitin’ for you to come back home (Come home) You the one, I’m in love, I feel like it been way too long (Way too long) Way too long and I’m missin’, I’m missin’ you.”

Apple further assures users that the iPhone 15 Plus should last a couple of days on a single charge, alleviating the need for overnight charging as with older iPhone models. The company suggests limiting charging to 80% to preserve the iPhone’s battery health.

The highlights the personal experience of an iPhone 14 Pro user attesting to the excellent battery life, showcasing a shift in charging habits and minimal overnight plugging. The endorsement suggests a positive trajectory for the iPhone 15 Plus’s battery capabilities.

The advertisement and accompanying YouTube description leave no room for doubt, underscoring the iPhone 15 Plus’s key features, such as its big screen, big battery life, dynamic island, 48MP main camera, and water-resistant design. The only caveat mentioned is the device’s size, with the Plus being larger than some users might prefer.

While the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1,199, the iPhone 15 Plus, priced at $899 after a $30 carrier discount, emerges as a more economical yet powerful alternative.
