Apple Leads the Charge: TSMC’s Revolutionary 2nm Chips Set for 2025 Production

The shift to 2nm involves TSMC’s adoption of GAAFET (Gate-All-Around Field-Effect Transistors) with nanosheets, departing from the current FinFET technology. TSMC’s Strategic Investments

To maximize production capabilities, TSMC has committed significant investments in the construction of two new facilities dedicated to 2nm chip production, with plans for a third pending approval.
