In a strategic move to fortify its retail presence and elevate customer engagement, Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of 18 new next-gen company-owned stores in Hyderabad, alongside expanding its footprint in Agartala, Jalandhar, Tricity Chandigarh, and Visakhapatnam.
Next-Gen Stores Across Indian Cities
Airtel’s retail expansion encompasses multiple cities, including two new stores in Agartala, North-East, strengthening the existing count to 5 stores in the city. In Hyderabad, Telangana, the addition of 18 stores across various locations further bolsters Airtel’s presence, contributing to the existing count of 68 stores in the city.
Jalandhar, Punjab, witnesses the introduction of a new store in JP Nagar, complementing the existing 4 stores in the city. Meanwhile, in the Tricity Chandigarh region, Airtel opens 3 new stores in Sector 44, Baltana, and Dhakoli, enhancing the current count to 16 stores.
Visakhapatnam (Vizag), Andhra Pradesh, welcomes a brand-new store in Maharanipeta, expanding the existing count to 10 stores in the city.
Enhanced Customer Engagement
Airtel’s neighbourhood stores, designed with a focus on creating enduring customer relationships, will showcase the entire spectrum of Airtel’s offerings, including Xstream, Xsafe, and 5G Plus. The dedicated store staff, known as ‘Airtel Friends,’ are equipped to address and resolve customer queries across Airtel’s diverse portfolio, covering mobile, broadband, and DTH services.
With a national count of 1500 stores, Airtel’s strategic expansion aligns with its commitment to meeting the evolving demands of customers in these regions.
