India’s love affair with motorcycles, fueled by the Dhoom franchise, is about to become even more exhilarating as the country gears up to host its first MotoGP race in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Motorcycle enthusiasts across the nation are buzzing with excitement as they eagerly await the opportunity to witness some of the biggest stars of MotoGP in action, live and in person.

Uttar Pradesh to Host India’s 1st MotoGP Race in September

If you’re a passionate motorbike enthusiast, get ready to rev up! India’s inaugural MotoGP race is scheduled to take place in September. The event will span three days, from September 22nd to September 24th. According to The Times of India, ticket registrations for this highly anticipated race have already begun, and the ticket sales will commence soon.

Only registered individuals will have the opportunity to purchase tickets. While the exact ticket prices are yet to be announced, The Times of India suggests that they may range from ₹2,000 to ₹40,000.

The race will be held at the Buddh International Circuit, situated in Greater Noida. This impressive race track spans five kilometers, and participants will complete 24 laps around it.

Marked as the 13th round of the current MotoGP season, the race will kick off at 9:00 AM and conclude at 4:30 PM on all three days. Although Kazakhstan was initially planned to host a leg of the tournament, the event was canceled there due to the tracks not being ready in time, as mentioned in The Times of India article.
