In the Doubles Quarterfinal Round unseeded Japanese pair of Funa Kozaki and Misaki Matsuda upset Indian third seeds Rutuja Bhosale and Prarthana Thombare 7-6(1), 6-2 In a close encounter Kamilla Bartone of Lithuania and Russian Ekaterina Makarova edged out Shrivalli Rashmikaa Bhamidipaty and Vaidehi Chaudhari 6-2, 3-6, 10-5; Second seeds Diana Marcinkevica and Sapfo Sakellaridi came back from loss of first set to get past Zeel Desai and Ksenia Zaytseva 4-6, 7-6(3), 12-10 to end the Indian challenge in the doubles
