In a thrilling showdown at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana ground, Deccan Gymkhana asserted their dominance by securing an impressive 87-run first-innings lead against Poona Club on the opening day of the PYC-Goldfield MANDKE TROPHY finals, sponsored by Goldfield Properties.

The clash between Deccan Gymkhana and Poona Club, two cricketing powerhouses, promised an exciting battle, and it didn’t disappoint. In the first innings, Poona Club’s batsmen struggled to find their footing as they were bowled out for a total of 112 runs, with a net score of 162-50runs, falling short of lasting 40 overs.
