Young tennis talents Varad Undre and Swanika Roy are poised for a remarkable double victory at the Bharati Vidyapeeth MSLTA Deccan Gymkhana All India Ranking Championship Series U14 Tennis Tournament. This tournament, organized by the Sandeep Kirtane Tennis Academy and hosted at the prestigious Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts, has witnessed some electrifying matches and outstanding performances by these rising stars.

In the boys’ singles category, top-seeded Varad Undre is set to face off against second-seeded Shounak Suvarna in the finals. What makes this matchup even more exciting is that Varad Undre has also reached the doubles finals alongside his brother, Smit.

Varad Undre’s path to the finals was marked by a commanding performance in the semifinals, where he defeated Sanat Kadle with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-3. On the other side, Suvarna secured his spot in the finals with a solid 6-4, 6-2 victory over Pradyumna Tatachar.

In the girls’ division, top-seeded Swanika Roy exhibited her tennis prowess with a dominant 6-2, 6-1 victory over Vara Eshwar, securing her place in the singles finals. She will now face second-seeded Aarohi Deshmukh, who outplayed Prarthana Khedkar with a score of 6-1, 6-3 in the semifinals.

Swanika Roy’s talents extend beyond singles as she also partnered with Sharvaree Deore to reach the doubles finals, further showcasing her versatility and potential in the world of tennis.
