ISRO Sets Sights on Venus and the Sun After Successful Moon Mission

To achieve this, the spacecraft will be strategically placed into a halo orbit around the first Lagrange point, L1, of the Sun-Earth system. The launch vehicle for this groundbreaking mission will be the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), a reliable workhorse of the ISRO fleet.
