Pune: Workers and leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) are a confused lot. They don’t know whether to side with Ajit Pawar, who recently joined the ruling combine, or Sharad Pawar. In this backdrop Shirur MP Amol Kolhe has made a big statement.
He has decided to resign as an MP. This has caused a stir in the NCP. Kolhe was present at the swearing in ceremony of Ajit Pawar and nine other NCP leaders in Mumbai. He told a TV news channel that he had gone to Ajit Pawar for some work and had no idea about the swearing-in ceremony. He said that he would always side with Sharad Pawar.
