Pune: Sunil Mane, who is considered to be the right-hand confidant of late Pune MP Girish Bapat, joined the Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar, on Wednesday. His inclusion in the party took place at Sharad Pawar’s residence in Modi Bagh in the presence of the party’s national president, Sharad Pawar.
On this occasion, various dignitaries, including the party’s national general secretary Jaydevrao Gaikwad, the city president Prashant Jagtap, party spokesperson Ankush Kakade, Maharashtra president of the Nationalist Legal Cell Advocate Bhagwanrao Salunkhe, and others, were present.
After the ceremony, while speaking to the media, Sunil Mane said, “Today, I have joined the Nationalist Congress Party, as I am of the opinion that the overall development of Maharashtra and Pune city can be best achieved only under the experienced leadership of the national president of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar.”
“Henceforth, I will work under the guidance of Sharad Pawar to use my experience in social, political, and journalism for the development of Pune city and state,” Mane added. At this time, former corporator Arif Bagwan and former Panchayat Samiti member Sunil Khedekar also joined the party in the presence of Sharad Pawar.
