Nashik, Aug 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday exhorted the new police officers to be prepared to deal with general crime as well as cyber and financial crimes, as the coming time is full of challenges.
Speaking during the 122nd passing-out parade of Maharashtra Police Academy (MPA) here, he said that policemen who come out of this academy are always at the forefront while performing their duty in the service of the country.
It is necessary to make efforts to raise the image of themselves and the country by setting a goal in their life and rendering quality service to the society, he further said.
“You have joined the police force to serve the people, work with discipline and do justice to the duty. You have got an opportunity to provide quality service in the society.” the Deputy Chief Minister said.
“As per the motto ‘Sadrakshanaya Khalnigrahanay’, it is your primary responsibility to protect the good trends in the society and destroy the bad ones. Discharge your duty without succumbing to any bias, prejudice and temptations,” Fadnavis added.
On this occasion, District Guardian Minister Dadaji Bhuse, MLA Devyani Farande, Seema Hire, Dr. Rahul Aher, Rahul Dhikle, director general of police Rajnish Seth, additional director general of police Rajesh Vatkar, Archana Tyagi, director of Maharashtra Police Prabodhini Rajesh Kumar and other dignitaries were present.
Divisional commissioner Radhakrishna Game, special inspector general of police Dr B G Shekhar Patil, Nashik Municipal commissioner Dr Ashok Karanjkar, police commissioner Ankush Shinde, collector Jalaj Sharma, Zilla Parishad chief executive officer Aashima Mittal, district superintendent of police Shahaji Umap along with police officers, employees and families of trainees were also present in large numbers.
