Pune: We will easily win Pune LS seat, says Sanjay Kakade

Sanjay Kakade-Murlidhar Mohol

Pune: There is a four-cornered contest in the Pune Lok Sabha Constituency among BJP’s Murlidhar Mohol, Congressman Ravindra Dhangekar, VBA’s Vasant More and MIM’s Anis Sundke. The Maha Yuti has stirred the election atmosphere after PM Narendra Modi’s election rally in the city.

All leaders from the Maha Yuti are putting up a united fight against the opposition. Among them is former MP Sanjay Kakade, who recently kept aloof. He was among the contenders for the party candidature for the Lok Sabha. However, the party chose Murlidhar Mohol as its candidate. Though a bit disappointed, Sanjay Kakade is back in the action mode.

Kakade is known as an ace strategist in Pune. He actively participated in a rally held for Murlidhar Mohol in the Kothrud assembly constituency. This has ended gossip that he was not happy with the party’s decision to field Mohol. Kakade’s participation will ensure a huge victory margin for Mohol.

Kakade said, “The Pune Lok Sabha constituency is a BJP citadel. We will easily win in this election.”

Meanwhile, Kakade said, “I have conveyed my views to the party city unit chief and to the state and national leadership. I told party leaders that I would take part in the campaign after April 30. I am here now.”

He expressed the confidence that Pune has become a BJP fortress in the past decade. The BJP would win this election hands down.
