Pimpri: NCP (AP) MLA from Pimpri Anna Bansode has said that the State Cabinet expansion will be done soon so that ministers can influence voters in their respective constituencies. He was speaking to the media in Pimpri while rushing to Mumbai.
He said, “I have not been called to Mumbai. I am going to meet Sunil Tatkare and Praful Patel there. I have not discussed anything about the cabinet expansion with them.
“I usually visit the Chief Minister for some work from my constituency. The State Cabinet should have been expanded long back. But it has to be done now considering the Lok Sabha election results. This will help influence voters in their respective constituencies.
“I am always hopeful about a ministerial berth.”
Hectic parleys are being held to expand the State Cabinet. It remains to be seen whether Anna Bansode gets a berth in it.
