The forecast also includes heavy rainfall expectations for parts of Uttarakhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Telangana on Thursday.

Furthermore, thunderstorms with lightning are predicted for various regions until Saturday. Here are the specific areas and dates for the thunderstorm forecasts:

  • September 14: Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph are expected over multiple regions, including Uttarakhand, east Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Puducherry, Karaikal, Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Mahe.
  • September 15: Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are likely over the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
  • September 16-17: Thunderstorms with lightning are expected at isolated places in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, and Jharkhand.
