Vice President Dhankhar Foresees India’s Leadership by 2047: Young Generation’s Commitment to Shape the Nation

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has expressed his confidence that India will ascend to global leadership by 2047, driven by the unwavering commitment, focused direction, and dedication to societal service exhibited by the young generation. Addressing students at Sainik School in Jhunjhunu district, Dhankhar highlighted India’s rapid rise and asserted that the nation will be at the forefront of global affairs as it commemorates the centenary of its Independence in 2047.

In his address, Vice President Dhankhar emphasized that the students are the future architects of the country and hold the power to shape India’s destiny. He acknowledged the fortunate timing of the students’ presence, as India experiences an unparalleled surge in growth and development. Dhankhar emphasized that India’s progress is unstoppable and firmly asserted that the nation will proudly lead the world by 2047.

“You are the future of this country, you will shape this country. But boys and girls, you are lucky. You are fortunate that you are here at a time when India is rising as never before. Rise of India is unstoppable, we are going to be world’s number one when we celebrate the centenary of our Independence in 2047,” Dhankhar said. He further stated, “And how will it be possible? You people will make it possible. Your commitment, your directional approach, your service to society will make Bharat ever proud.”

Dhankhar drew parallels to India’s recent achievements, citing the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s south pole as an example of the nation’s remarkable accomplishments. He emphasized that history was created through this achievement, solidifying India’s position as one of the four countries to achieve such a feat and the only country to have landed on the Moon’s south pole.

Dhankhar also encouraged the students to embrace failure as an integral part of growth. Drawing from his own experiences, he highlighted the importance of not fearing failures and encouraged students to perform to their full potential. He underlined the significance of developing a well-rounded personality and learning from every experience.

The Vice President extended an invitation to the students to visit Delhi as his guests in seven batches, offering them the opportunity to witness the functioning of the Parliament. Earlier in the day, Dhankhar and his wife Sudesh Dhankhar visited Sri Surya Mandir in Lohargal and Rani Shakti Mandir in Jhunjhunu to offer prayers.

Dhankhar’s commitment to India’s growth extended to his speech at the National Institute of Ayurveda, where he urged people to embrace ancient medical practices like Ayurveda. He emphasized that although allopathic medicines offer swift benefits, they come with potential side effects. He praised the role of Ayurveda in enhancing people’s immunity during the pandemic, recognizing Ayurvedic kits as a valuable resource.

Highlighting India’s cultural contribution, Dhankhar termed Yoga as India’s unique gift to the world. The event was attended by Minister of State for AYUSH Mahendra Munjpara, Vadiya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH, and Professor Sanjeev Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of the National Institute of Ayurveda.
