As the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit kicks off, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the event in Gandhinagar on Wednesday. The summit, renowned for fostering global partnerships and promoting economic development, will witness the participation of various global leaders, including the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Prime Minister Modi’s two-day visit to Gujarat, which began on January 9 in Ahmedabad, focuses on engaging with world leaders and leading CEOs to discuss key developmental projects for the state. In addition to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, the prime minister is scheduled to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Trade Show on the evening of January 10.
Conceptualized under Narendra Modi’s leadership during his tenure as the chief minister of the state, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit has emerged as a key platform for driving economic growth and fostering international collaborations. The 2021 edition was canceled due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Running from January 10 to January 12, the 2024 summit carries the theme ‘Gateway to the Future.’ Participating global companies and partner countries are expected to contribute to discussions and initiatives that will shape the future trajectory of Gujarat’s economic and industrial landscape.
